Dr. Mimi Mebarek Long grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and moved to  Lincoln, Nebraska, which she now considers her forever home, for her dental degree.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 2010. She next earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with distinction, from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry in 2014. Following her studies, Dr. Mimi completed a General Practice Residency at UNMC in Omaha, where she has since stayed on as faculty to educate students and residents one day a week. 

 

Dr. Mimi is passionate about dentistry and providing her patients high quality dental care. She makes it her priority to take the patient’s comfort first by providing detailed discussions, gentle dentistry, empathy and compassion. Her professional organizations include, the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the Lincoln District Dental Association.

 

Dr. Mimi is happily married and has one daughter, Lila, who takes up the majority of her free time. She also loves going on walks around Lincoln, cooking and baking, watching KU basketball and Chiefs football and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr. Mariah Allen is a native of the rural town of Alma, Nebraska. In 2017, she embarked on a journey at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she explored her passion for dentistry, met her husband, and achieved the title of valedictorian of her graduating dental school class. From there, Dr. Allen pursued an advanced degree in general dentistry, which took her family to North Carolina.

She spent a few years practicing in the beautiful state of Wyoming before returning to the place and people she loves in Nebraska. Driven by a profound desire to make a difference, Dr. Allen approaches her craft with empathy and compassion, ensuring every patient feels valued, heard, and at ease in her care. Her areas of interest in dentistry are surgeries, implants, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Beyond caring for teeth, she’s passionate about making a real impact on people’s lives, whether it’s easing pain, restoring function, or boosting confidence through a winning smile.

Outside her dental practice, Dr. Allen likes to spend time with her husband and two children, Emmett and Merrick. They devote their weekends to the outdoors, whether strolling amidst nature’s beauty, perfecting golf swings, or sipping coffee at a local coffee shop. Additionally, Dr. Allen revels in the simple joys of family life, is an avid Husker volleyball fan, and finds fulfillment in time spent with friends.
